Grant Programs
Formal grant programs exist as an important grassroots youth football development strategy. Each program includes its own set of eligibility criteria and requirements. In many cases, these programs focus on NFL clubs and current and former NFL players to help advance and support youth and high school football initiatives nationwide.
Qualified applicants may apply for Grant opportunities online using the Grant Application Management System (G.A.M.S.)

NFL Players
NFL Player Matching Youth/High School Football Grant Program
The NFL Player Matching Youth and High School Football Grant Program allows current and former NFL players who make financial contributions to approved youth and/or high school football programs to receive matching grants of up to $5,000 for those respective programs.NFL Player Youth Football Camp Grant Program
Through the NFL Player Camp Grant Program, grants of up to $4,000 are awarded to free, non-contact youth football clinics and camps organized by current and former NFL players.NFL Player — Coach Youth and High School Football Grant Program

The NFL High School Coach of the Week Grant Program aids and promotes high school football by recognizing and honoring high school football coaches and their teams in 32 NFL markets and Los AngelesNFL Club Matching Youth & High School Football Grant Program
The NFL Club Matching Youth/High School Football Grant Program allows NFL clubs to identify and support youth and high school football needs and growth opportunities in their respective markets.NFL Club Matching Youth Football Field/Stadium Grant Program
Through the NFL Club Matching Youth Football Field/Stadium Grant Program, NFL club foundations may apply to the NFL Foundation for matching funds of up to $250,000 to either 1) create youth football fields/stadiums at their team facilities to be dedicated solely toward the support and development of youth and high school football; or 2) refurbish community youth and/or high school football fields located in respective team markets.NFL ATLAS and ATHENA
The NFL ATLAS & ATHENA Schools program consists of one full day of training for coaches and selected student athlete leaders to learn how to implement the ATLAS and ATHENA programs. Fields & Equipment
NFL Grassroots Field Grant Program
The NFL Grassroots Field Grant Program provides non-profit, neighborhood-based organizations and high schools with financial and technical assistance to improve the quality, safety and accessibility of football fields in underserved areas of NFL markets. A partnership between the NFL Foundation and Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), the program makes available matching grants up to $200,000 for capital improvement projects including field surface grants and general field support.USA Football Equipment Grants
As the sport's National Governing Body, and Official Youth Football Development Partner of the NFL and its 32 teams, USA Football is committed to enhancing the football experience for all at the youth and amateur levels through our Equipment Grants Program. Held annually in Canton, Ohio, the NFL/USA Football Youth Football Summit includes interactive sessions focused on football skills, health and safety, and off-field development. More than 150 youth and high school football coaches and administrators nationwide are selected to participate in educational seminars, chalk-talks and roundtable discussions chaired by former NFL players and coaches, youth medical experts and motivational speakers.Health & Safety

Since its inception in 2001, the NFL High School Player Development (HSPD) program has provided thousands of high school football players with a week-long curriculum that focuses on inspiring excellence in the classroom, community, and on the playing field.
