NFL Club Matching Youth & High School Football Grant Program

About the Program

The NFL Club Matching Youth/High School Football Grant Program allows NFL clubs to identify and support youth and high school football needs and growth opportunities in their respective markets. Through matching funds from the YFF, NFL clubs develop and/or support singular or multiple football initiatives at the youth level, thus effectively addressing issues facing the game while also promoting local youth and high school football programs.

The following information provides an outline of this grants requirements and information you will need to supply to successfully apply for this grant. We suggest you read this thoroughly before proceeding forward.

  • Only NFL Teams may apply for NFL Club Matching Grant funds
  • All proposals must include an explanation of the club's commitment of matching funds. A formal letter from the club front office must be submitted to verify the funding commitment in advance.
  • NFL player involvement is a requirement for this program.
  • Club Matching Grants cannot be used to enhance or fund NFL-run youth football programs or allocated in the form of personal stipends or straight donations where clubs are not further involved
  • Grant requests above $10,000 will be reviewed and voted on by the NFL Youth Football Fund Board during one of four quarterly meetings.

Important Dates

Applications for Club Matching Football Grant Program open April 7, 2011 and close March 31, 2012.
