NFL High School Football Coach of the Week Grant Program
About the Program
The NFL High School Football Coach of the Week Grant Program aids and promotes high school football by recognizing and honoring high school football coaches and their teams in 32 NFL markets and Los Angeles. The program is designed to recognize high school coaches who, through their hard work and dedication to young people, create successful football teams and players both on and off the field. With the assistance of NFL clubs, it also provides high schools with grants to help maintain and upgrade their football programs.
Who Can Apply
NFL Teams Only
During each week of the high school football season in all NFL markets and Los Angeles, a local panel of club personnel, sports media and other VIP's select an NFL High School Football Coach of the Week winner.
Award Amount
NFL Club Foundations issue Coach of the Week Grant checks to each week’s winner during the football season.
Detailed Requirements
The YFF supplies program certificates, team caps and funds to frame the certificates. Grant funds and program items are sent to NFL team foundations for distribution to the NFL High School Football Coach of the Week winners.
Important Dates
Applications for Coach of the Week Grant Program open July 20, 2011 and close August 10, 2011.
