NFL Club Matching Youth Football Field/Stadium Grant Program
About the Program
Through the NFL Club Matching Youth Football Field/Stadium Grant Program, NFL club foundations may apply to the YFF for matching funds of up to $250,000 to either 1) create youth football fields/stadiums at their team facilities to be dedicated solely toward the support and development of youth and high school football; or 2) refurbish community youth and/or high school football fields located in respective team markets. Both NFL Club Matching Grant opportunities help to create a new level of community excitement for the game.

Detailed Requirements
The following provides an overview of this grant initiative as well as information that eligible applicants will need to provide in order to successfully apply for a grant award. We suggest you read this thoroughly before proceeding with an application.
- All proposals require a match of one dollar for every YFF dollar (1:1) and must include an explanation of the club's commitment of matching funds. A formal letter from the club front office must be submitted to verify the funding commitment and sources in advance
- Any field that receives an NFL Club Matching Youth Football Field/Stadium Grant must be devoted solely for youth football purposes and may not become an asset for an NFL team to make money for its for-profit purposes
- NFL clubs must demonstrate active use of the fields and involve local partnerships with schools and other non-profit community partners (e.g., Parks and Recreation Departments, Boys & Girls Clubs, YMCA branches, Pop Warner leagues etc.) to promote youth football programming on the fields. Each proposal should clearly state how the field project would benefit the youth football community and detail how many youngsters will make use of the field for football activities
- All YFF grants awarded to NFL Club Youth Football Field/Stadium projects only will be provided for capital expenditures (e.g. installation of synthetic field turf, flight, bleachers, fences, locker room facilities, goalposts and scoreboards)
- YFF funds may not be used toward field maintenance as all NFL clubs must rely on their respective ground crews for continuing maintenance and field safety. If a YFF grant will be used to refurbish a community or local high school football field, a minimum five-year field maintenance plan must be submitted by the community-based non-profit organization or school
- Any sponsorship revenue attributable to youth football/field stadium projects will be used solely for the purpose of carrying out the project; NFL clubs may not earn revenue from any sponsorship/business partnership associated with this YFF grant initiative
