NFL Junior Player Development Program

The NFL Junior Player Development (JPD) program provides step-by-step instruction about every football position for youngsters between ages of 12-14. Using a fun and engaging environment, JPD integrates on-field development with life skills development. Participants from underserved areas nationwide receive football instruction from NFL-selected high school coaches and trained community volunteers, as well as counseling that focuses around various life skills.

NFL National Youth Football Partners Grant Program

The NFL National Youth Football Partners Grant Program awards grants to the nation's largest youth-serving organizations that include football as part of their curriculum. These national organizations utilize grant dollars to create youth football initiatives and/or support programs within their framework to address the needs of school-aged youth and high school football participation on a national scope. The 2007 NFL National Youth Football Partners include: Amateur Athletic Union; American Youth Football, Inc.; Boys & Girls Clubs of America; Jewish Community Centers Association; National Association of Police Athletic Leagues; National Recreation and Park Association; Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc.; and YMCA of the USA.

NFL Local Agency Program

Through the NFL Local Agency Grant Program, the YFF awards small-level grants to affiliates of the NFL National Youth Football Partners to support outstanding local youth and tackle football programs. This initiative reaches tens of thousands of children each year by providing much needed funding for costs associated with running both new and existing flag and tackle football programs.

NFL Travel Fund for National Youth Football Championship Games

The NFL Travel Fund for National Youth Football Championship Games allows local football teams affiliated with Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. and American Youth Football, Inc. to qualify for YFF donations of up to $5,000 to help offset travel costs associated with the annual Pop Warner Super Bowl and AYF National Championships.
